Every suite starts with four pieces: the invitation, envelope, details card, and response card. We then layer in custom artwork, one-color printing, and an envelope liner, ribbon, guest addressing, and full assembly.

Yes. Most clients build from their starting proposal once they begin designing with Nicole. Folios, booklets, emboss or deboss, handmade paper, and vintage postage are all on the table. We explore these options along with endless others together during the design phase, or mention upgrades in your inquiry form and we can add up front. We offer save the dates, rehearsal dinner paper, menus, programs, place cards, signage, welcome materials, and other wedding day paper to our clients.

What does custom wedding stationery cost?

Every Little Something wedding commissions begin at $7,500, with most full-service clients investing $20,000 or more. Each wedding is quoted individually based on design scope, guest count, materials, printing methods, and day-of pieces.

What does the $7,500 minimum include?

Our $7,500 minimum is a project minimum, not a package. Your proposal is built specifically for your wedding and may include save the dates, a custom invitation suite, specialty printing, and select day-of stationery depending on the scope and materials.

Why does fully custom wedding stationery cost more?

Because we create the work once, specifically for you. We use no templates, no AI-generated artwork, no stock or outside artwork, and no designs reused from another wedding. Every illustration, pattern, monogram, layout, and detail is created specifically for your celebration.

We also approach a wedding as more than a collection of individual paper pieces. Our founder is both a SCAD-trained artist and an experienced digital marketer, and we bring the same discipline used to build a sophisticated brand to the design of your wedding. Color theory, typography, visual consistency, storytelling, and creative direction are considered across the entire experience — from the first save the date your guests receive to the menu at their place setting and the signage they encounter throughout the weekend. Every piece should feel connected and intentional.

Our suites are made and finished by hand, without shortcuts. We use exceptional papers and materials and traditional specialty printing methods, including old-world letterpress and hot foil stamping. Even the parts you may never see matter to us — from the quality and weight of the paper to the plates, dies, foils, and finishing techniques used to produce it.

The goal is not simply to make beautiful stationery. It is to use design to elevate the guest experience and create meaningful, tangible moments that become part of how your wedding is experienced and remembered.

You are paying for original design, creative direction, fine materials, skilled craftsmanship, specialty printing, hand assembly, and the time required to create something that did not exist before your wedding — and will not be recreated for someone else's.

Once you book, we start with a structured design form and a call to scope your project — so Nicole has everything she needs before a single line is drawn. From there, she designs from a blank page. When the concept is taking shape, we share a sketch proof to make sure we're on the right track before moving into the formal proof stage. Clients receive two rounds of text edits during the formal proof phase to confirm spellings and content are exactly right. Artwork revisions beyond the scope of the project may require additional time or fees. Once the proof is approved, we move into production: printing, assembly, addressing, and delivery.

We accept just two full-service weddings per month. While projects can be completed within four months, we strongly recommend booking nine to twelve months ahead to ensure availability.

As is standard practice for commissioned design studios, all custom artwork created by Every Little Something remains the property of the studio, and copyright is retained by ELS. Use of the artwork is subject to ELS’s discretion.
When ELS is retained to produce day-of goods, artwork is reused within that scope without additional licensing, making the process straightforward and cohesive. Clients who wish to use the artwork on items ELS does not produce may request to purchase usage rights, which are evaluated separately.

Yes. Every Little Something regularly designs custom stationery for international and destination events. We are especially well known for Italian and Italian-inspired celebrations, as well as events in France, Ireland, and Thailand. Our process is well suited to destination planning, allowing us to create bespoke stationery that reflects the location, tone, and scale of your event—wherever it takes place.

Yes. We aim to make payment simple and flexible. Each proposal is priced based on the event size, requested add-ons and other details discussed during the design process. We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and ACH, and offer financing through Affirm and Klarna. Project fees are typically divided into multiple payments based on scope and timeline. Yes. We are commissioned for baby showers, birthday celebrations, bar and bat mitzvahs, Christmas and holiday cards and other meaningful milestones. Our work is designed for clients who value custom, highly considered paper and presentation across every detail of the event.

No. Every Little Something does not source designs from Alibaba or any overseas marketplace. All design is created in-house by Nicole, exclusively for our clients. Any listings claiming to sell our work on third-party platforms are unauthorized. Our work has been stolen and misrepresented on external marketplaces. Clients should verify authenticity before purchasing or engaging with any third-party listings.

No. We never use templates.

Every Every Little Something wedding begins with a blank page. We do not maintain a semi-custom collection, reuse previous clients' designs, or take an existing invitation and change the colors, names, or venue. There are excellent template and semi-custom studios for couples who want a faster, more affordable process. That is simply not what we do.

When we say custom, we mean created for you, not customized for you.

No. We specialize exclusively in fully custom wedding stationery and do not offer templates, semi-custom collections, or lower-priced versions of our previous work.

Semi-custom is built around efficiency: a design is created once and then reused for multiple couples, with names, colors, fonts, or other details changed for each wedding. That can be a great option for couples who want beautiful stationery at a lower price or on a shorter timeline. It is simply a different product from what we make.

At Every Little Something, we start over with every wedding. We do not reuse another client's artwork, pull illustrations from outside sources, use stock artwork, or generate designs with AI. Your illustrations, monograms, patterns, layouts, shapes, and other creative elements are developed specifically for your celebration.

We have also chosen not to create a semi-custom collection because doing so would require us to build our studio around repetition and volume. We would rather take on fewer weddings and devote our time to original design, exceptional materials, traditional printing methods, hand assembly, and the small details that distinguish true custom work.

If you are looking for the fastest or least expensive way to create beautiful wedding invitations, we are probably not the right studio for you. If you want something designed and made specifically for your wedding — something that will not be offered to the next couple — that is exactly what we do.
